Oxmed two-piece urostomy systems consist of a ZenSiv base plate and a ZenSiv pouch that are interconnected into a single unit and adapted to the individual needs of the user and the size of the stoma.
FEATURES:
Characteristics:
– The non-return system prevents urine from flowing back towards the stoma, so the risk of leakage is minimal even in the lying position, and comfort for the user is increased.
– The urine bag has an inner layer: when the bag is upside down, urine cannot flow back towards the stoma.
– The safe and user-friendly urine outlet can be easily connected to the nighttime urine bag without the use of an extension connector. The outlet fits most standard connections.
– The very soft, breathable and waterproof fabric is comfortable on the skin and prevents sweat from building up under the bag. It dries very quickly after bathing or showering. The soft film layer has an excellent oxygen barrier that completely prevents unpleasant odors.
– The stoma pouch includes a window through which it is possible to view the interior as well as the stoma outlet. It is also very useful when placing the pouch to ensure that it is positioned correctly on the stoma.
– An exceptionally good activated carbon filter provides very good odour neutralisation and can filter large volumes of gas. This means that the gas will be odourless when it leaves the filter. This filter also prevents the stoma bag from becoming inflated due to good air flow. The protective inner layers and odour neutralisation prevent leakage through the bag
*The diameter of the backing plate and the bag must be the same.
