Oxmed two-piece colostomy systems consist of a ZenSiv base plate and a ZenSiv pouch that are connected together into a single unit and adapted to the individual needs of the user and the size of the stoma.
FEATURES:
– The very soft, breathable and waterproof fabric is comfortable on the skin and prevents sweat from building up under the bag. It dries very quickly after bathing or showering. The soft film layer has an excellent oxygen barrier that completely prevents unpleasant odors.
– The stoma bag includes a window through which it is possible to view the interior as well as the stoma outlet. It is also very useful when placing the bag to ensure that it is positioned correctly on the stoma.
– An exceptionally good activated carbon filter provides very good odour neutralisation and can filter large volumes of gas. This means that the gas will be odourless when it leaves the filter. This filter also prevents the stoma bag from becoming inflated due to good air flow. The protective inner layers and odour neutralisation prevent leakage through the bag.
