Nürofoam non-adhesive is a non-adhesive foam dressing with the addition of PHMB, a sterile antimicrobial wound dressing made of hydrophilic polyurethane foam. The outer waterproof polyurethane film protects the wound from external influences (bacteria). The thin transparent perforated film prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound bed and the penetration of granulation tissue into the pores of the foam, thus reducing trauma during removal of the dressing.
INDICATIONS:
• Chronic and acute wounds with moderate to heavy exudation
• Infected wounds and wounds with a high risk of infection
• As a primary dressing for stage II – IV pressure ulcers
• Calf ulcer
• Diabetic foot
• Burns
• Postoperative wounds
• Suitable for use under compression bandages
REMARK:
• Used as a primary coating
• The dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
