Antimicrobial coating made of cellulose fibers with silver.

Nürocel extra Ag is an antimicrobial, sterile, non-woven, highly absorbent dressing consisting of high M (maNüronic acid) calcium alginate and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). In contact with wound exudate, it transforms into a soft cohesive gel. The silver ions released in the presence of wound exudate are an effective antimicrobial agent for up to 7 days, based on in vitro testing, against a broad spectrum of microorganisms that are often associated with bacterial colonization and wound infection.

INDICATIONS:

• Moderate to heavy exudation
• Infected wounds
• Profuse exudation
• II – IV degree of pressure ulcers
• Calf ulcer
• Diabetic foot
• Burns up to 2b degree
• Pilonidal sinus
• The maximum duration of wound dressing therapy with the supplement is 3 months.
